Health & Safety

Stewart Construction views Health and Safety as a huge priority, from including it in the tendering process to pre start meetings, to on the job day to day hazard management.  We accept that everyone has responsibilities when it comes to Health and Safety.  We set a high standard of expectations and monitor, review and hold accountable all employees and contractors that carry out work for us.

Each employee has a minimum of the Site Safe Building Passport and all Forman have completed the Supervisor Gold Card course.  All staff have current First Aid training and these are renewed every two years.

We have passed three independent ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices audit at Tertiary Level.  And strive to maintain an ongoing improvement process throughout the year. We are also registered with Contractor Prequalification New Zealand (CPNZ) and hold a 4 star rating in category 4.
